Op 27 september zou Prisca 50 jaar geworden zijn.
In april 2026 verloor ze de strijd tegen kanker – en verloren wij een topvriendin. Een warme, oprechte en pientere vrouw die een enorme leegte achterlaat. Haar verjaardag zonder haar vieren, dat doet pijn.
Daarom lopen en wandelen we voor haar mee met Kick for Cancer. Niet om te treuren, maar om iets terug te doen: om te vechten tegen de ziekte die haar van ons afpakte, en om de toekomst van kinderen met kanker een beetje lichter te maken.
Elke euro telt. Onderzoek naar kanker kost geld, en dat geld komt er alleen als mensen bereid zijn iets bij te dragen.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
