Let’s run for Lila, let’s Just run for Love

This year, I’m running for all the children courageously fighting cancer and for their families — and especially for little Lila, my 12-year-old cousin, her brother and her parents. ❤️

Lila is bravely fighting leukemia. Her body is on the front line of this battle, but cancer touches so much more than the physical body. It shakes everything we thought was certain and invites us to look deeply at how we choose to live this precious life.

How often do we take for granted the very things that are most precious — health, life, peace, love, the simple joy of being together — until they are threatened or taken away?

So many people are physically healthy and yet deeply unhappy or disconnected from themselves. Perhaps the fight for healing is therefore also an inner journey: a journey towards greater alignment with who we truly are beneath our fears, our struggles and our conditioning — our eternal, loving Divine nature.

Supporting scientific research is a concrete and essential part of this fight. But perhaps healing, in the deepest sense, asks something from all of us: to live with more gratitude, more awareness, more love and more service.

May our sincere love for Lila and for all children and families facing cancer inspire us to contribute in whatever way we can — and may love and service to all of creation become our true motivation. ❤️
