I'm lacing up my shoes this September to run for KickCancer — and I'm asking you to join me, not with your legs, but with your heart.

No child should have to fight cancer. Yet it remains the leading cause of death by illness in children over the age of one. That fact alone is enough to make me want to do something about it.

I don't have a personal story tied to childhood cancer — but I believe deeply that children are the future of this world, and that future deserves to be protected. Every child deserves a chance to grow up, to dream, to become who they're meant to be.

Last year I ran 5km for this cause. This year, I'm back and ready to push further. But the most powerful step isn't mine to take — it's yours. A donation, however small, goes directly toward funding research that gives children a real fighting chance.
