Charlies mama / Charlie's Angels

In mei 2025 stond onze wereld plots stil. Terwijl we 32 weken zwanger waren van babybroer, begon voor Charlie een ongelooflijk zware strijd.
Na 40 chemokuren en 33 bestralingen durven we opnieuw hopen. Hopen dat de tumor, die nog steeds in zijn hoofdje zit, blijft reageren op de behandelingen en dat Charlie alle kansen krijgt die hij verdient.
Omdat er over dit type tumor nog zo weinig bekend is, is onderzoek van onschatbare waarde. Geen enkel kind zou afhankelijk mogen zijn van geluk omdat er te weinig kennis of behandelingen beschikbaar zijn.
Daarom zetten wij ons met heel ons hart in voor KickCancer. Voor Charlie, voor alle kinderen die vandaag vechten en voor de kinderen die deze strijd in de toekomst niet meer zouden mogen voeren. 💛

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
